Chick Empire Hentai Game Review

Chick Empire Hentai Game Review

Chick Empire is a F2P clicker/idle game. The plot of the game follows Marcello Bravo and Little Caprice as they try to build a porn empire, but after the first night Marcello (Mark) finds out they are stuck in a time loop and that they have to start the business over.

First impressions

So first thing I noticed is the character art is pretty good, and the use of actual pornstars does mean some of the characters look really nice. At first, the game’s progression felt really satisfying and scratched the idle game itch nicely but it soon became clear that the game was pretty click-intensive so an auto clicker is recommended.

Around the 1 hour mark, the pacing issues started to show. This was around the time that the free 10x boost given to you during the first few episodes expires, the game slows to an absolute crawl and if you don’t plan your upgrades right, it becomes nearly unplayable as you wait for the free casting/coins to try to get even close to making progress.

This does make it super difficult to get even close to the rewards for completing an episode in X time, and most of the time even with good planning you can get stuck on an objective for 1-2 days preventing you from making any progress. This issue is compounded by the fact that you usually don’t unlock the required character to automate the main money-making business, which leaves you with the option to either wait and make zero progress or try to power through.

First Event

Realizing that I could get almost nowhere with the main story I decided to focus on the first event which I had unlocked a few hours before.

At first, it went pretty well and I made a fair amount of progress during the first hour or 2 but then I ran into the same issue as the main campaign. I had hit another wall and progress had again slowed to a crawl

The “stop and go” pacing still plagued the rest of the event as I would frequently hit these walls that absolutely kills your momentum and in many cases required a few hours of active play to even get over only for it to happen again an hour or so later. This got annoying pretty fast and that’s around when I decided to go back and try the main story again

Main Story (Attempt 2)

So after spending a lot of time playing the event and claiming the free coins and casts during that time, I had gotten a pretty good stash going and managed to get past the roadblock I had run into earlier.

After clearing that episode I went into the next one really carefully trying my best to not run into those pacing issues again, but I still ran into a few pacing issues that stopped my progress for a pretty long time.

Luckily I managed to get a few rewards from the event which I had abandoned and that got me over those hurdles pretty quickly.

The event rewards did seem to really do a lot in the main campaign since some of the rewards boosted the earnings of a lot of the early businesses but at the cost of making some of the later ones a lot less useful. And the momentum really picked up for the next 2 or so episodes but seemed to have run out as the later businesses started to become more useful but also a lot more grindy.

Gameplay experience

Initially, it’s a pretty fun game, but after playing for a few dozen hours and doing multiple events the progress feels slow and satisfying

The events are a pain in the ass since most of the time you never complete them before the time runs outs and it’s not worth it to compete on the leaderboard since you get very little rewards from it anyway

The main campaign is too slow and frustrating to grind at for long periods, the main issue is that you only get cards from events or buying crates with gems.

It’s also a pain to get coins to level up your cards since you only get 3 coins every time a business ranks up even though most card upgrades cost hundreds if not thousands of coins which makes ranking up the lower-tier businesses completely useless unless it’s for a quest and even then the only reason to do the quests are to get to the next episode to do more quests.

Final thoughts

Chick Empires has really solid visuals, but the systems are a mess. It’s plagued with pacing issues and the gameplay just starts to become stale after a while.

A lot of the events have scaling issues and make it nearly impossible to get all of the rewards without spending a load of gems, along with just slowing down near the middle point.

It’s a shame since I would have loved to see more of the game and I do think with a proper system rework and maybe some fresh content this could be a really solid idle game. But where the game is right now it falls short.

While initially, I think this game would have been a solid 3-3.5/5 with the pacing issues and stale gameplay I would say this game gets a 2/5 It’s really unfortunate and I hope that with future updates these issues can be addressed.
